The Sudanees Refugee project was created in 2008 after visiting the Sudanese Refugee School in an area outside of Cairo. This oasis of life and hope was created by Rebecca Attala to meet the needs of the growing sudanese refugee population in Egypt. Rebecca has been working in this area and other poor areas of Cairo for the past 25 years. We are honored to join with her as she works toward improving the education and standard of living for these displaced people. There are more than one million Sudanese refugees seeking a new life and opportunity in Cairo. For the most part these are marginalized families with children.
The ongoing tragedy being perpetrated against children like these in Sudan and Dar Fur has created an influx of refugees without resources for basic needs like food, clothing and education. Consider partnering with one child. One life. Just One.
